Description
A weekend intensive no dig course is a fantastic opportunity to understand no dig more deeply.
There is time and the a chance to get to know each other more. On Saturday evening, we go out for supper to the local pub (at your own cost), if you wish to come along. Many participants choose to stay in touch creating an instant no dig network.
I find that participants have a few or sometimes many preconceived notions about how to grow successfully. There are different opinions on how to maintain soil fertility, how growth of plants happens, and how they can best support both of these aspects. It’s good to put these familiar notions on hold during a weekend which can revolutionise your way of looking at gardening, and even at life.
See the results and the advantages of no dig for growing, both on small and larger scales. No dig empowers you the grower by freeing much time from chores like regular and large amounts of weeding. You can become creative and have time for income-creating jobs such as sowing, planting and harvesting.
We look at propagation and composting and discuss succession planting. We also look at the Homeacres trial beds such as the dig and no dig comparison beds.
The weekend intensive no dig course works for both gardeners and market gardeners, often we have a mixture of both. It’s such a beauty of no dig, how you can scale up or down when familiar with the principles I teach.
Food and refreshments are included. Lunch is made from Charles’ vegetables and the chef creates quite an array of dishes.
