Open Day – Sunday 3rd September

Date:  09/03/2023 - 09/03/2023

Meet Charles at this annual and popular open day event.

See the Homeacres no dig gardens, full of many different vegetables and flowers. There will be signage by different beds, trial beds and and the different compost heaps and bays. Have a look at what’s growing in the polytunnel and greenhouse. The small garden and the bed by the shed show what is possible in smaller gardens. Take a walk through the wilder area of the garden which will be in full bloom. New this year is the addition of a second pond. The three pallet compost system has been moved to give a clear view from the house to the meadow beyond. Charles will be on hand to answer questions.

The open day will support with 80% of ticket price, two charities PromiseWorks and Ripple Effect.

Please feel free to bring a picnic with you and Charles’ brother Oliver will be at Homeacres selling his cider, apple juice and cider vinegar.

Charles’ PA Nicola will be selling books, module trays, dibbers and trowels.

Your order confirmation will act as your ticket to gain entry to the gardens.

Please use the designated field for parking, there will be marshalls on hand to guide you.  Please do not park in the village or on the no through road where Homeacres is located.
